Why Working the Polls Matters!  Join us for a conversation with Coconino County Elections director Eslir Musta and his team and Pima County Elections Director Constance Hargrove about the importance of elections workers and their role in ensuring our elections are safe, secure, and accessible for all Arizonan voters.

By collaborating with county election officials, these events support our joint mission of defending democracy, amplifying our unwavering efforts to restore and strengthen the voters' confidence in our elections, and increasing and diversifying voter participation and elections workers. We want to use our resources to amplify the work of Arizona’s counties elections departments and support the needs they have. League members and community participation in the conversation will have a positive impact in helping recruit poll workers.

We invited election directors from Coconino, Maricopa, Pima and Yavapai.

September 30 - Maricopa and Yavapai County

October 21 - Pima and Coconino County.

We urge you to attend both events.  The challenges faced in counties other than those you might vote in can impact our democracy. So join us in this and other work to defend democracy and empower voters.
